Through all of Todd’s life's experiences, drawing has always been a big part of his life - He always thought everyone could do it! Todd found out he could draw when he was in the second grade and has been drawing ever since. He predominately uses charcoal, pencil and colored pastel (pencil type). He started drawing animals and cartoons and his first drawings were the road runner & Wiley coyote.
Over the years it has evolved into what it is today, with new techniques taken from other artists and a lot of trial and error. Todd never had formal schooling to sharpen his ability, other than an art teacher Froggie Jones, who tried to teach him to paint when he was in second grade. He also likes to scrimshaw which is carving/scratching into ivory or bone and then using Indian ink to bring out the highlights.
